This set has ONE, just ONE worthwhile mini. You can buy them individually from Miniature Market and AVOID buying all three. The yellow wizard is a repaint from an older mini. The blue female looks fruity. I’m female and wouldn’t use this – ever. It’s as though the creator of it copied a cartoon version of Storm from X-Men. If you are handy with a paintbrush you could salvage the blue female mini.
I won’t be buying any other “SETS” from the PHB Heroes. Only individually from sellers like Miniature Market.

So Wizards of the Coast has finally caught on that RPGers and miniature collectors really DO want to SEE what they’re getting. These are nice minis that come painted and ready for play. The best part is the selection–three for the price of one unpainted metal mini. Not bad if you’re not into painting and want different options for your characters.
Paint quality and sculpts are the same as their previous minis–good for the price. I only hope that they continue making more “heroes” as they roll out their monster manual line.
