This book is a great read– better than I expected (I had never read anything else by this author) and I hope to read more. This is a great book if you enjoy epic fantasy and I am looking forward to reading the others.
It’s hard to discuss it without giving away the plot (I hate spoiler reviews) but it was an enjoyable read.
FYI– I bought this book for a dollar on Kindle– what a bargain for great entertainment.

This isn’t the kind of book I normally read, although I try not to limit myself to certain genres. Sometimes I find epic fantasies a little tedious. Not so with this one! There wasn’t one paragraph in this story that didn’t hold my interest. Ty Johnston has a wonderful way with words so that his scenes come alive for the reader. I’m definitely buying books two and three of this trilogy!

I would have been disappointed if the price was higher. This author has potential perhaps but this story tends toward shallow characters and somewhat disjointed storyline.

Wow…I downloaded this to my ipod for $.79, not expecting much since it was so cheap. This was a great book and I couldn’t put it down! I have purchased the next 2 books and started on number two today. Definitely recommend for anyone that likes fantasy books!

I dont like starting a series, unless its complete. When I searched this series it showed all 3 books available, wrong! The third book was not available. So either I have to buy the hard copy or wait for the E-book. Waste of time.
