In this collection, Scott Nicholson provides a good mixture of creepy, suspenseful, and thrilling tales. In this collection, you will meet…
- A funeral home owner who takes his job just a little too seriously.
- A snoopy journalist who begins to dig too deeply for his own good.
- An imaginary friend with a love of dangerous games.
- A man who finds much more than he bargained for when he explores a deserted island.
These, and many more will lead you on a journey through a desolate landscape of nightmares.

While the price wars and general whining are going on with Kindle book prices. I’m looking to bargains for my reading jones. Thank you Scott Nicholson for putting Ashes here for $0.99.
There are great stories in here, some of course better than others, but for the price of admission, they are all worth it. I like short stories because I can finish one or two during my lunch break.
Favorites so far: “Murdermouth” and “Watermelon” I haven’t finished the book yet, but really liking what I read. I will definately buy the others.
Great fun and prickly goosebumps.

I didn’t realize when I purchased this that it was a collection of short stories. I just bought it because I had read a book by Scott and really liked it. I usually don’t care for short stories because they always leave me feeling like I do when I eat one bite of something and am still hungry. However, I have to say that these stories were interesting and spooky. Some of them would have been great made into a movie!
